Introcan Safety® IV Catheter
This course provides training for the Introcan Safety® passive safety peripheral IV catheter which is designed for peripheral IV first stick success and minimizes needlestick injuries with a fully automatic safety shield that cannot be bypassed.
This training provides an in-service for use of the Introcan Safety® IV Catheter.
Learning Objectives
- Overview the steps to inserting the Introcan Safety® IV catheter.
- Learn about the catheter design features that facilitate optimal placement including double flashback technology and universal bevel design.
- Understand the passive safety features of the device.
