Introcan Safety® 2 IV Catheter with One-Time Blood Control
This course provides training for the Introcan Safety® 2 IV Catheter with one-time blood control which is designed to promote peripheral IV first stick success, protects from blood exposure during insertion, and reduces needlestick injuries with a safety feature that cannot be bypassed.*
This course provides an in-service for use of the Introcan Safety® 2 IV Catheter with One-Time Blood Control.
Learning Objectives:
- Overview the steps to inserting the Introcan Safety® 2 IV Catheter with One-Time Blood Control.
- Learn about the catheter design features that facilitate optimal placement including double flashback technology and universal bevel design.
- Understand the passive safety features of the device.
- Understand the one-time blood control feature.
