CARESITE® Luer Access Device
This course provides training for the Caresite Luer Access Device with positive displacement designed to help reduce catheter occlusions while protecting healthcare workers from accidental needlestick injuries.
This training provides an in-service for use of the Caresite® Luer Access Device with positive displacement.
Learning Objectives:
- Overview the method for connection and disconnection of the Caresite® Luer Access Device.
- Learn about proper flushing of the Caresite® Luer Access Device.
- Understand the safety features of the device and proper use.
- Review how to properly open, disinfect and discard the Caresite® Luer Access Device using aseptic technique.
